Al Tahoe

The Al Tahoe neighborhood is one of South Lake Tahoe’s oldest, most charming, and most historic neighborhoods. It is comprised of wonderful original Tahoe cabins built in the 1,900’s, million-dollar lakefront properties, modern luxury homes, as well as several multifamily properties. It is centrally located between the lake, Truckee Marsh Meadow, and Trout Creek. Its central location makes it desirable to homeowners that want a short walk to the lake, parks, and nearby coffee shops, restaurants, Lakeview Commons, the city recreation facility/ice rink, and retail establishments. It is a great location for a second home or primary residence.

Most of the lots in the Al Tahoe Neighborhood are 5,000 square feet with a few larger lots dispersed throughout. Lakeview Ave is on the north edge of Al Tahoe and parallels the Lake. Lakeview Ave is where the lakefront and lake view homes are located. Bellevue Ave and El Dorado Ave border the south and west side of Al Tahoe, and overlook the Truckee Marsh Meadow and Trout Creek. Many of the houses overlooking the meadow have great mountain and meadow views.

During the summer months, you will find see many folks out on beach cruisers, paddle boarders heading for the water, people heading out to nearby beaches for swimming and beach time. Al Tahoe is just minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort, The Shops of Heavenly, and the casino corridor.
